Jade Pearl
London

The art defined
Jade Pearl creates bold, cathartic works that explore spirituality, transformation, empowerment, and the healing power of creativity. Her pieces use vibrant colour therapy, abstract forms, and layered textures to invite viewers into a journey of self-reflection and personal growth. At the core of her practice is the belief that art offers freedom—freedom from inner turmoil, societal expectations, and limiting beliefs. Works like Cathartic Expression and You Hold the Power embody resilience and authenticity, while pieces like The Enchantment of the Eye and Empower Change, infused with enchanted oils, channel positive magic energy and personal transformation. Jade Pearl extends this ethos into her sustainably driven slow fashion brand, where each garment is a wearable reflection of empowerment, ethical design, and the journey of self-discovery. Through art and fashion, she celebrates the power of authenticity, inner strength, and change.
Inspired by Warhol
Jade Pearl’s artistic relationship with Andy Warhol is marked by a profound admiration for his pioneering spirit and cultural impact. Engaging with Warhol’s work has allowed Jade Pearl to explore themes of identity and transformation in her own practice. Through participation in exhibitions that celebrate Warhol’s legacy, she has found a unique platform to express her vision of empowerment and self-discovery. This connection fosters a dialogue between past and present, enabling Jade Pearl to reflect on her own artistic journey while honouring Warhol’s influence on contemporary art. In pieces like Empower Change, she channels the essence of vibrant expression and emotional depth, inviting viewers to engage in their own transformations. This relationship is not just about homage; it’s an opportunity for Jade Pearl to explore how art can serve as a catalyst for personal and collective change, celebrating the spirit of creativity that Warhol championed.

Empower Change
The inspiration for my piece was similar to my usual style, using bright colours and expressive marks along with lots of words of positive affirmations about love and freedom. I’ve utilised expressive colours that are meaningful to confidence, happiness and self-love. I wanted the piece to work alongside the Warhol artwork, to feel cohesive as one piece. I did this by incorporating similar tones of the Absolut ‘blue’, but still using my art as a point of difference.
