The art defined
Ángel Toren (Murcia, 1992) is a visual artist who merges digital aesthetics with architecture and painting. His career began in urban art and graffiti in 2007, exploring public space intervention as a form of dialogue with the environment. With a background in graphic design, his work is characterized by geometric precision, overlapping planes, and the use of vibrant gradient colors.
His art exists at the intersection of the physical and the digital, employing compositions that evoke visual glitches, three-dimensional structures, and repetitive patterns. Inspired by Brutalist architecture, digital interfaces, and typography, Toren transforms static surfaces into dynamic spaces where light, color, and perspective create depth and movement.
Throughout his artistic evolution, he has expanded his practice from large-scale murals to studio pieces that combine mixed techniques, integrating volumes, acrylic glass, and acrylic paint. While his work maintains a connection to the language of urban art, he reinterprets it through a precise and calculated aesthetic, challenging the viewer’s perception and exploring new forms of interaction between art and architectural space.
Inspired by Warhol
My connection with Andy Warhol arises from the way we both explore the perception of art in relation to its environment. Warhol transformed everyday objects into cultural icons, and I, through my own visual language, reinterpret architectural structures and digital elements to challenge the perception of space and form.
Ángel Toren The Other Half
This design extends the representation of the Absolut Vodka bottle depicted by Warhol, maintaining the essence of controlled color use and the focus on everyday objects (just as Warhol once did with iconic brands that endure to this day). It establishes a parallel continuation of Warhol’s visual work, integrating the contemporary with classic pop art.
“I have created a new dimension with digital and geometric elements that interact with new technologies, showcasing the evolution of art through digital media and synchronizing a completely different style with Warhol’s classic approach.”
The Other Half introduces a distinctive and urban visual language, making it clear that artistic legacy can be transformed and adapted to new eras.

The piece establishes a visual connection with the festival's musical performances, reflecting both the rhythm and the immersive atmosphere that defines it.

Universe Wxllspace
Design is everywhere. And while we don’t always take the time to notice it, good design has the power to improve our lives in countless small ways. This is especially true when it comes to the built environment. The way a building is designed can profoundly impact how we experience it. This is something artist Ángel Toren understands well. Working with vibrant colors and geometric forms, Toren manipulates lines and dimensions to create unique and often surprising perspectives of familiar buildings. In doing so, he encourages us to see the world around us in new and unexpected ways. As he once said: "I want people to see the world differently… to find beauty where they normally wouldn’t."

Multivision
The design takes advantage of the building’s structural elements, integrating them into the composition. This transforms the walls into an interactive canvas where shapes not only decorate but also enhance the architecture of the space. The strokes and patterns guide the viewer’s gaze, creating a visual journey that highlights the scale and intricate details of the work.
