3 Halloween Bloody Mary Recipes plus Two Bloody Mary Shots

Halloween and the Bloody Mary were made for each other.

This year, we’re giving you three ways to make one, each with a different Absolut Vodka, plus two Bloody Mary shots for the guests who like their frights quick. 

What Are Some Bloody Mary Recipes for Halloween? 

There are countless ways to make a Bloody Mary for Halloween, but three of our favorites are the classic Bloody Mary with Absolut Vodka, the Spicy Bloody Mary with ABSOLUT® TABASCO™, and the Absolut Peppar Bloody Mary made with Absolut Peppar.  

If you’re hosting a party and want make something quicker, try the two Bloody Mary shots: one made with Absolut Peppar, and another made with ABSOLUT® TABASCO™. 

1. Bloody Mary 

Made with Absolut Vodka, tomato juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce and fresh lemon juice, the classic Bloody Mary is the one every other version is measured against. 

As Ricardo ‘Rico’ Dynan, bartender and Absolut Global Brand Ambassador, explains: “There’s actually no such thing as a perfect Bloody Mary. This cocktail completely relies on your sense of taste — so make it how you like it.” 

Your Halloween. Your Bloody Mary. Your rules. 

Ingredients: 

• 1 part Absolut Vodka 
• 3 parts Tomato Juice 
• 4 Dashes Hot Sauce 
• ¼ part Worcestershire Sauce 
• ¼ part Lemon Juice 
• Pinch of Salt 
• Pinch of Celery Salt 
• Cracked Black Pepper 
• Lemon Wheel and Celery Stick to garnish  

How to Mix: 

1. Add the fresh lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, cracked black pepper, salt, celery salt and hot sauce to a cocktail shaker. 
2. Add the tomato juice and Absolut Vodka. 
3. Fill a second cocktail shaker with ice cubes and “roll” the mixture — pour it from one shaker to the other to chill the ingredients without diluting them. 
4. Fill a highball glass with ice cubes. 
5. Using a julep strainer, strain the cocktail into the glass. 
6. Garnish with a lemon twist and celery stick.

2. Spicy Bloody Mary 

For those who think Halloween isn’t frightening enough, there’s always the Spicy Bloody Mary.

Made with ABSOLUT® TABASCO™ — chili pepper-flavored vodka — this is the Bloody Mary that brings the heat.

A Cajun spice rim that means business, a red chili garnish that serves as fair warning and a tomato juice base that soaks up every drop of ABSOLUT® TABASCO™ heat.

Ingredients: 

• 1 Part ABSOLUT® TABASCO™ 
• 3 Parts Tomato Juice 
• 5 Dashes of Worcestershire Sauce

The Fastest Bloody Mary on Earth is the Halloween shot that’s been terrifying taste buds since 1986 — the year Absolut Peppar launched and this shot was born alongside it.

Here’s how to make The Fastest Bloody Mary on Earth: 

1. Sprinkle flaky sea salt onto a small plate. 
2. Slice a cherry tomato in half and dip it in the salt. 
3. Pour a shot of Absolut Peppar. 
4. Sip the shot. Follow with the tomato.

Some things creep up on you…like the peppery sensation of the Absolut Peppar Bloody Mary. 

Made with Absolut Peppar — our pepper-flavored vodka — it’s got a cracked black pepper bite that sinks in slowly and lingers long after the glass is empty. 

Ingredients: 

• 1 part Absolut Peppar 
• 3 parts Tomato Juice 
• 3 Dashes Hot Sauce 
• 2 Dashes Worcestershire Sauce 
• 1 Pinch Black Pepper 
• 1 Pinch Salt 
• Celery Stick to garnish 
• Lemon Wedge to garnish
