Our Absolut passion for perfection means that we do not triple distill. We do not even quadruple distill. No! We distill until the job is done. From the small Swedish town of Åhus, Lars Olsson Smith, the founder of Absolut Vodka, introduced the continuous distillation technique in 1879 with the herald of his creation Absolut Rent Brännvin. L.O. wanted perfection. Yes. A clean vodka made from the most natural of ingredients. So L.O. set out to make the perfect vodka. L.O. succeeded. Obviously. And Absolut was born. (Thank you L.O.
