Absolut Vancouver

‘V’ For Vancouver

Vancouver is not just about stunning nature, outdoor adventures and fresh local seafood. It’s very much about art.

This limited edition was not only designed to embody the city of Vancouver, but more importantly support its local arts community.

As part of the tribute to Vancouver arts, we asked local illustrator and graphic artist Douglas Fraser to interpret the uniqueness of the city. Featuring a bold, yellow and blue sea plane soaring above Vancouver’s skyline and sealed within an emblematic ‘V’ symbol, the design exemplifies what it means to live, work and play in Vancouver.

Following the launch of Absolut Vancouver, we also called out for local artists to submit proposals on a website describing how they would support Vancouver art with up to $120,000.

Vancouverites were invited to vote for their favourite talent, engaging the Vancouver art scene long after the launch of the bottle.
