Absolut watermelon cosmopolitan 

An oh-so-juicy, summery twist on a Cosmo!

A Watermelon Cosmopolitan is a variation of the beloved Cosmopolitan – one of the most iconic cocktails in the world. 

Just like the cocktail it’s based on, the recipe for Absolut Watermelon Cosmopolitan is made with fresh lime juice, triple sec and cranberry juice but replaces Absolut Citron with Absolut Watermelon – our oh-so-juicy watermelon-flavored vodka.  

Think of it as a perfect summer Cosmo, bursting with watermelon juiciness! 

Ingredients

• 40 ml Absolut Watermelon
• 20 ml Triple Sec
• 20 ml Lime Juice
• 20 ml Cranberry Juice (sweetened)
• Lime Wedge
• Ice Cubes

What You’ll Need

• Citrus Press
• Boston Shaker
• Knife
• Jigger
• Hawthorne Strainer
• Fine Mesh Strainer
• Coupe Glass

How to Mix

1. Cut a lime in half and use a citrus press to juice the halves, saving a piece of lime zest for garnish. 
2. Use a jigger to measure and pour 20 ml lime juice into the smaller tin of a Boston shaker.
3. Measure and add 20 ml cranberry juice.
4. Measure and add 20 ml triple sec.
5. Add 40 ml Absolut Watermelon.
6. Add ice cubes into the shaker.
7. Connect the two shaker tins to seal the shaker, then shake vigorously until the tins are frosty on the outside. 
8. Open the shaker and place a Hawthorne strainer over the top of the larger tin with one hand.
9. With your other hand, hold a fine mesh strainer over your coupe glass and pour the mixture into the glass.
10. Garnish with the piece of lime zest you saved in step one.
