Absolut peppar pineapple martini

A peppery fresh fruit martini like no other.

The Absolut Peppar Pineapple Martini is a fresh fruit martini that’s tropical, sweet and peppery, all at once, delivering a truly unique drinking experience.

When you make this drink, you get to hone your muddling skills and show all your guests that you know how to shake a cocktail. But fear not, this is an easy-to-make fruitini with just three ingredients: Absolut Peppar (black pepper-flavored vodka), muddled pineapple and simple syrup.

Perfect for dinner parties or whenever you want to add some sophistication to an evening while retaining casual, tropical vibe of the pineapple.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Absolut Peppar
  • 10 ml Simple Syrup
  • 4 Pieces Pineapple
  • 1 Pineapple Wedge
  • Ice Cubes

What You’ll Need

  • Jigger
  • Boston Shaker
  • Hawthorne Strainer
  • Knife
  • Muddler
  • Martini Glass

How to Mix

  1. Grab a pineapple and use a knife to remove the skin and core. Cut a 2 cm slice, then divide it into four chunks and place them into the larger tin of your Boston shaker. Set aside a pineapple wedge for garnish later.
  2. Measure and add 10 ml of simple syrup into the shaker using a jigger.
  3. Use your muddler to gently press and twist the pineapple to release its juices. Continue muddling until the mixture is juicy and aromatic.
  4. Use the jigger again to measure and add 45 ml of Absolut Peppar into the shaker.
  5. Add ice cubes, seal the shaker tins, and shake vigorously until the tins are frosty on the outside.
  6. Separate the shaker tins, place a Hawthorne strainer over the larger tin, and pour the drink into a pre-chilled martini glass.
  7. Garnish by perching a pineapple wedge on the rim of your glass.

Variations of an Absolut Peppar Pineapple Martini

  • Swap muddled pineapple for cantaloupe melon, and you’ve got yourself a melon martini. Use apple juice instead of pineapple, and voilà, an apple martini.
  • For a citrusy twist, add 20 ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice to your Absolut Peppar Pineapple Martini. The lemon juice brings a zesty sourness that perfectly balances the sweetness of the pineapple and simple syrup.
  • Beyond a pineapple wedge, try garnishing your drink with a lemon twist, a classic martini garnish. Or enhance the tropical vibe by adding a small pineapple leaf alongside the wedge.
  • Turn up the heat of your fruitini by perching a small red chili pepper on the rim instead of a pineapple wedge. Chili and black pepper? Amazing!
