Absolut peppar alert

Attention, attention! The Absolut Peppar Alert is a deliciously unique cocktail guaranteed to grab the attention of all your senses.
This built drink (read: no shaking, no blending – everything is made in the glass!) is made with Absolut Peppar – our cracked black pepper-flavored vodka – sweetened cranberry juice and a dash of sweet raspberry liqueur.
Perfect to serve at any summer party or any time you want to offer your guests a fruity drink with a surprise peppery bite!
Ingredients
- 45 ml Absolut Peppar
- 1 Dash Raspberry Liqueur
- Cranberry Juice (sweetened)
- 3 Fresh Raspberries
- Ice Cubes
What You’ll Need
- Jigger
- Highball Glass
How to Mix
- Grab a highball glass and fill it with ice cubes.
- Use a jigger to measure and add 45 ml Absolut Peppar into the glass.
- Add a dash (approx. 5ml or one bar spoon) of raspberry liqueur.
- Top up the glass with sweetened cranberry juice.
- Garnish by placing 3 fresh raspberries into your glass.
Variations of an Absolut Peppar Alert
- If you want to add even more raspberry flavor to your drink, add 35 ml of Absolut Raspberri and reduce the amount of Absolut Peppar to just 10 ml. This way you’ll get the bold, sweet flavor of raspberry while retaining the peppery heat of Absolut Peppar. It’s a win-win!
- Introduce a variety of berry flavors to your drink by using Absolut Wild Berri. Follow the recipe above but mix 35 ml of Absolut Wild Berri and 10 ml of Absolut Peppar. The complexity of the berry flavors makes this drink a wonderful blend of sweet and spicy.
- Swap raspberry liqueur for blackberry liqueur for a richer berry profile. Next, garnish with a few blackberries to complete the berry-rich transformation.

The truth is making your own juice for your cocktail is almost always going to lend itself to a better drink. After all, the better and fresher the ingredients, the tastier the drink. But there’s always an exception to the rule, and that exception is cranberry juice.
Store-bought cranberry juice is already sweetened and diluted to perfection and replicating that sweetness and balance at home can be tricky since cranberries themselves are very tart. So, when making the Absolut Peppar Alert, we recommend using store-bought cranberry juice.

We recommend using a highball glass or another cocktail glassware type tall enough to accommodate both the ice cubes and the cranberry juice.
