Add a twist

Common questions
Still looking for tips and inspiration for Absolut Pear Drop? We’ll leave you with these common questions.
The pear drop cocktail was originally inspired by the classic pear drop candy. It’s a simple, easy-to-make drink, using gin or vodka as its base, balanced with sharp lemon juice and sweet simple syrup.
Absolut Pears vodka has a subtly sweet flavor, making it great for experimenting with and mixing. Besides working brilliantly in our pear drop cocktail, try mixing it with ginger beer or apple juice. Or, for something simpler, mix with soda or tonic and enjoy.
For the perfect pear pairing, try spices like ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg – great if you want to give your cocktail a wintry twist. You could even try topping your drink with star anise and cloves but be careful to balance out your spices with a touch of sweetness. Simple syrup is a great choice here, but vanilla liqueur would add an extra dimension and depth to the drink.
