Add a twist
Our Absolut Lime Mojito is a stone-cold party pleaser, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get creative. Here are some twists on our Absolut Lime Mojito you need to give a go:
- The Mojito is a classic summer drink, so why not pair it with one of the most vibrant summer fruits of them all – watermelon. With Absolut Watermelon vodka, you’ve got a great base that does even more heavy lifting.
- Raspberries pair well with the smooth taste of vodka. Trade Absolut Lime for Absolut Raspberri and add some raspberries for garnish and muddling. Simple, easy, and fruity.
- If you’re passionate about pushing the flavors of a Mojito, swap your Absolut Lime for Absolut Passionfruit. Throw a dash of passionfruit purée into the mix and you’ve got a Caribbean classic with a tropical twist.
- Alternatively, you could keep things the same and trade out the lime for Absolut Citron – delicious citrus with a different zing.
Common questions
Still looking for tips and inspiration for Absolut Lime Mojito? We’ll leave you with these common questions.
While rum and vodka have very different flavor profiles, they’re both great spirits to use in a Mojito. Because of its neutral, smooth taste, vodka brings the mint and lime flavor front and center. Using Absolut Lime, just like in our recipe, can help bring even more depth and emphasis on the citrus.
While white rum is the signature spirit of a Mojito, many bartenders use vodka in their cocktail creations. The neutral profile of vodka makes it easy to experiment with other recipe twists and variations.
While the original Mojito recipe calls for sugar, simple syrup is a great alternative that requires less muddling. It dissolves instantly, offers consistent sweetness, and prevents any gritty sugar granules.
