Also known as the Passion Star Martini, it’s the cocktail that took over bar menus, dominated social media and became one of the most searched cocktails in the world. And on 6 September every year – Pornstar Martini Day – it gets the celebration it deserves.

What is a Pornstar Martini?

The Pornstar Martini – also known as the Passion Star Martini – is a shaken vodka cocktail made with vanilla-flavoured vodka, passion fruit purée, vanilla syrup and fresh pineapple.

It’s fine-strained into a chilled martini glass, garnished with half a passion fruit and served with a shot of Champagne on the side. Prosecco is a popular and common alternative to champagne.

• 45 ml Absolut Vanilia
• 25 ml Passion fruit purée
• 15 ml Vanilla syrup
• 4-6 chunks of fresh pineapple
• Half a passion fruit
• Shot of Champagne or Prosecco, served the side

How to Make a Pornstar Martini Properly

How to Mix:

• Add 4–6 pineapple chunks to a cocktail shaker and muddle gently.
• Add 45 ml Absolut Vanilia.
• Add the pulp from half a passion fruit.
• Pour in 15 ml vanilla syrup.
• Add 25 ml passion fruit purée.
• Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
• Fine strain into a chilled martini glass.
• Garnish with half a passion fruit.
• Serve with a shot of Champagne on the side.
