5 Incredible Cocktails to Make with Absolut Mandrin

The Mandrin Boulevard 

The Mandrin Boulevard is a vodka twist on the Boulevardier – the beloved bitter-sweet classic traditionally made with bourbon, sweet vermouth and Campari. Here, Absolut Mandrin takes the place of bourbon, combining with sweet vermouth and Italian red bitter liqueur for a drink that’s sophisticated and citrus-edged.

Here’s how to make it:  

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes.
   
2. Measure and add 25 ml (1 part) Absolut Mandrin.
3. Measure and add 25 ml (1 part) sweet vermouth, and 25 ml (1 part) Italian red bitter liqueur.
   
4. Give everything a good stir until it’s perfectly chilled and diluted to your liking.
   
5. Add a large piece of ice into a chilled rocks glass.
6. Pour the cocktail directly from the mixing glass into your rocks glass.
7. Garnish with a piece of orange zest. Sip and enjoy!

Blood Orange Cosmo 

The Blood Orange Cosmo starts where the classic  Cosmopolitan. leaves off. Absolut Mandrin replaces  Absolut Citron, a splash of blood orange juice joins the mix and the lime juice is reduced to give the mandarin and blood orange room to shine.

The result is a cocktail that brings new flavor nuances to the beloved original.

Here how to mix it: 

• Grab a shaker and fill it with ice cubes.
• Add 45 ml (1.5 parts) Absolut Mandrin.
• Add 45 ml (1.5 parts) cranberry juice. 
• Add 15 ml (0.50 part) triple sec. 
• Squeeze and add 10 ml (approx. 0.35 part) of fresh blood orange juice. 
• Add 5 ml (approx. 0.15 part) fresh lime juice. 
• Shake until your shaker is frosty on the outside. 
• Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Sip and enjoy!

The Mandrin Crush

Consider this your new cocktail crush. The Mandrin Crush combines Absolut Mandrin, passionfruit syrup, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup into something bright and tropical.

Shaken with ice and strained into a rocks glass over crushed ice, the bold citrus character of Absolut Mandrin plays beautifully against the sweet, tropical depth of the passionfruit, with fresh lemon keeping everything sharp and balanced.

• Fill a shaker with ice cubes. 
• Add 30 ml (1 part) Absolut Mandrin.  
• Add 60 ml (2 parts) fresh-pressed orange juice. 
• Add 10 ml (approx. 0.30 part) triple sec. 
• Shake with ice until the shaker is frosty on the outside.
• Strain into a cocktail glass. 
• Top up with champagne.
