5 Drinks to Make with Absolut Pears
Got a bottle of Absolut Pears and wondering what to make with it? Good news – it’s an extremely versatile flavored vodka. Soft, fragrant and reminiscent of poached pears, with warm hints of vanilla and butterscotch, Absolut Pears has a flavor profile that works beautifully across a whole range of cocktails.
Just like all other Absolut flavored vodkas, Absolut Pears unlocks a whole world of cocktails possibilities. From elegant martinis and crowd-pleasing shots to classic mules and easy highballs, Absolut Pears fits every occasion – whether that’s a rooftop at sunset or a festival campground at midnight. Here are five cocktails to make with Absolut Pears to get you started.
1. Absolut Pears Martini
The Pears Martini is a sweet, fresh fruit martini made with Absolut Pears, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and pear purée. Shaken with ice and double strained into a martini glass, it’s one of those perfect drinks.
“Sweet yet balanced. Candy-ish, because of that pear flavor. It’s a sublime drink – a showstopper for any dinner party,” shares Rico ‘Ricardo’ Dynan, Bartender and Absolut Global Brand Ambassador. Check out our Absolut Pears Martini recipe.

2. Absolut Pears Mule
The Moscow Mule is one of the most popular cocktails in the world. Made with original Absolut Vodka, ginger beer and fresh lime juice, these three ingredients have given the drink legendary status.
But when you swap the original Absolut for Absolut Pears, you’ve got a whole other drink. “It’s an upscale mule. It’s like turning up your mule up to 11. I mean, the Moscow Mule is already a fantastic drink but with Absolut Pears, it’s even better!” says Rico.

3. Absolut Pears & Thyme Highball
The Absolut Pears & Thyme Highball is one of the easiest drinks to make but don’t underestimate how tasty it is. Pear and thyme work incredibly well together, creating a sophisticated, balanced flavor profile that blends gentle sweetness with earthy, herbal note.
To make the Absolut Pears & Thyme Highball, fill a highball glass with ice cubes, then measure and add Absolut Pears and top up with soda water. Give it a stir, garnish with a sprig of thyme and let the drink do the rest.

4. Absolut Pears 75
Consider this a double twist. The French 75 is a gin classic. Swap the gin for vodka and you’ve got a French 76. Swap that vodka for Absolut Pears and you’ve got the Absolut Pears 75 – a pear-forward champagne cocktail that’s elegant and effervescent.
To make it, combine one part Absolut Pears with half a part fresh lemon juice and half a part vanilla syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake well, strain into a champagne flute and top with crisp, dry champagne. Finish with a brûléed pear slice.
Elegant enough for a New Year’s Eve celebration, refined enough for a fall dinner party and special enough for a birthday, the Absolut Pears 75 is a champagne vodka cocktail worth knowing.

5. Absolut Pear Drop
The Absolut Pear Drop is one of the most crowd-pleasing shots you can make and one of the easiest. Absolut Pears, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup shaken together with ice, strained into a sugar-rimmed shot glass and finished with a pear slice.
Sweet, sharp and unmistakably pear-forward, it’s a shot that works well at any gathering and takes less than a minute to make.
Planning a party? Make a batch. The Absolut Pear Drop scales up effortlessly.
