What Does Absolut Comeback Taste Like? 

Absolut Comeback contains the same premium taste you’ve come to know and love as the original Absolut Vodka. Made exclusively from natural ingredients, Absolut doesn’t contain any added sugar. In fact, Absolut is as clean as vodka can be. Still, it has a certain taste: rich, full-bodied and complex, yet smooth and mellow with a distinct character of grain, followed by a hint of dried fruit.

The Absolut Way of Making Vodka

In 1879, Lars Olsson Smith introduced the continuous distillation with which he made Absolut Rent Brännvin. Instead of the usual three or four times, the vodka was distilled an infinite amount. Fast forward 100 years and it was reintroduced as Absolut. Just as then, Absolut is produced in Åhus, L.O. Smith’s birthplace—the very same place where the wheat used for making the vodka is grown. And since the way Absolut is crafted with care will never change, neither will the true taste of our premium vodka.

Keeping Natural Ingredients Natural

The core ingredients in Absolut Vodka are water and winter wheat. Our water comes from a deep well in Åhus where it’s protected from impurities. Our winter wheat is specially selected and differs from other crops; sown in autumn, and harvested the following fall. During the winter days, it grows hardy and robust under the thick Swedish snow—minimizing the need for fertilizer.

We take responsibility for the entire production from seed to bottle, to ensure the quality of our vodka for a better world and a better vodka. ”One Source” is our production philosophy, meaning that every aspect of our production journey takes place in and around the small village of Åhus, Sweden. All ingredients for Absolut Original Vodka are sourced from southern Sweden.
