COMPETITION TERMS
ABSOLUT THE MAP VOLUME COMPETITION
(the “Volume Competition”)
1. Organizer: The organizer of the Competition is Pernod Ricard Norway AS (”Organizer”, “us” or “we”) with the address Fridtjof Nansens vei 17-19, 0369 Oslo, Norway. For any inquiries, please contact us via email at [email protected].
2. Competition Period: 2025-07-01 to 2025-09-01.
3. Eligibility: To participate in the Competition, your bar must be in Norway and hold all the necessary permits to function as a bar.
4. How to Enter the Volume Competition: To participate in the Volume Competition, enter on the Volume Competition website. The natural person entering the Volume Competition warrants that they are mandated to enter into the Volume Competition on the bar’s behalf. Bars can join the Volume Competition before 1 Julyt 2025. Late entries will not be accepted.
The bar must stock ABSOLUT Vanilia in your bar for bar visit tasting by our team.
5. Selection of Winner: There will be one bar that wins the Prize (defined below). The winner is the bar with the most volume of ABSOLUT Vanilia purchased through wholesalers during the Volume Competition Period.
6. Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted personally via the email provided as part of entering the Volume Competition. If the winners do not respond within five (5) days of the email, the prize will be awarded to the next runner up. Unsuccessful entrants will not be notified directly.
7. Prizes: The bar who wins the prize will receive a staff party hosted by the ABSOLUT team.
8. Taxes: The winner is responsible for paying any taxes that may arise as a result of the prize, including but not limited to, income tax on the value of the prizes.
9. Non-Transferable: The prizes cannot be replaced, transferred or changed. It is not possible to exchange the prize for cash.
10. Ineligibility: Employees of the Organizer and their spouses and children are not allowed to participate in the Volume Competition.
11. Liability: Organizer is not responsible for the consequences of competition entries that have disappeared, been sent incorrectly, in violation of these Volume Competition Terms, or been delivered too late to Organizer. Organizer is also not responsible for any technical difficulties such as an incorrect email address being provided or problems that may affect either the registration or the final result of this competition. Organizer assumes no liability for entries or participants of the Volume Competition.
12. Provision of Information: Entrants are aware of and agree that the Organizer may collect statistics from the wholesaler in order to assess and confirm your performance in the Volume Competition. An entrant shall, at the request of the Organizer, provide the Organizer with wholesaler statistics to confirm the amount of volume the bar claims to have sold. In case of reasonable doubt, the Organizer may audit the entrant’s sales statistics concerning ABSOLUT Vanilia.
13. Disqualification: If we consider that you or your entry are in breach of these Volume Competition Terms, or if we have grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent or unsportsmanlike conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the Volume Competition, choice of winner(s), any voting mechanism or any entry), without limiting the options available to us, we reserve the right in our sole discretion (and without us incurring any liability) to disqualify any entrant, entry or person we reasonably believe to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity. We also reserve the right to disqualify you from the Volume Competition (without us incurring any liability) if in our reasonable opinion you conduct yourself in a way which is abusive or which exposes you or others to any medical, security, safety or similar risk whatsoever (including if you are intoxicated or abusive in any way). We further reserve the right to disqualify you from the Volume Competition (without us incurring any liability) if you are in breach of mandatory laws or Pernod Ricard’s applicable policies or codes, including but not limited to, the Pernod Ricard Code for Commercial Communications. You agree that you will not do anything which is likely to bring us or any of our competition partners into disrepute or which might adversely affect our reputation or the Volume Competition. If you are disqualified prizes may be withheld or withdrawn. You will not be compensated and you may be required to pay any costs incurred. Another entrant or winner may be selected at our discretion to take part in the Volume Competition and win the prize(s).
14. Data Protection: Personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with the Organizer’s Privacy Policy. At any time you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection by contacting us at [email protected]. You also have a right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority in your location.
15. Governing Law: These Volume Competition Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Volume Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts, Oslo tingrett being the court of first instance.
16. Modification of Terms: Organizer reserves the right to amend these Volume Competition Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the competition’s website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
17. Acceptance of Terms: By participating in the Volume Competition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Volume Competition Terms.
