Single Estate

Every drop of Absolut Elyx is made from winter wheat grown on one single estate in southern Sweden. The Råbelöf estate has been cultivating its wheat since the 1400’s. The region has the ideal climate for producing winter wheat, with dry, cold winters and long, warm summers.

Copper Crafted

Absolut Elyx is made using a vintage copper column still from 1921. Thousands of copper packets are used sacrificially, removing unwanted compounds and contributing to a rich final product. The skill and experience of manually operated distillation produces a luxury vodka with unparalleled character and flavor.

This year Absolut Elyx celebrates an exciting evolution with the unveiling of a striking new bottle design. Expertly brought to life by London-based design agency Stranger & Stranger, the new Absolut Elyx bottle boasts a timeless silhouette with opulent flare. Made from over 40% recycled glass, the design celebrates the vintage copper credentials central to the creation of Absolut Elyx, through a sleeker, lustrous and more elegant form that stands out from the crowd.

The faceted bottle pays homage to the vintage copper column still from 1921 and gives the bottles a luminescent glimmer,’ says Rowan Miller, Design Director at Stranger & Stranger.

While the Absolut Elyx bottle has evolved, the vodka remains unchanged. Available in more than 70 markets worldwide, Absolut Elyx is the luxury handcrafted expression of Absolut vodka. At 42.3% ABV, every drop of Absolut Elyx is made using wheat from one single estate in Åhus, Sweden, using the brand’s vintage copper still – every drop of Absolut Elyx is produced from seed to bottle within a 15-mile radius.

The new Absolut Elyx bottle is available worldwide in Spring/Summer 2019.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Clean, rich, rounded, fresh bread and notes of white chocolate and light cereal and with a deep mellow spice.

Palate: Full bodied, luscious silky mouthfeel with waves of rich macadamia nuts, creamed cereal and garnishes of white chocolate and buttery notes of freshly baked bread. Light fresh nuttiness with a well-balanced hint of mellow spice and pure balanced richness.

Finish: Rounded mellow spice with fresh nuttiness and a well balanced warm smooth finish.

Our first tropical flavor inspired by the Alphonso mangoes, also known as the King of Mangoes, made a royal entrance. This sweet flavored vodka has added a splash of summer to drink lovers all around the world. Just add orange juice and you’re covered. Add some cranberry juice and you’ve made yourself the very eye catching Absolut Mango Breeze.

Vanilla. This magnificent flavor that can enhance pretty much everything from cookies to… well you name it.  Perfect for those with a sweet tooth or the ones that are into experimenting with contrasting flavors. The versatility of vanilla is also true when making drinks – regardless if you’re going for something simple like a Vanilia Espresso Martini, or something as provocative as a Pornstar Martini.

To be really picky, raspberry is a drupe and not a berry – but whatever; it goes with nearly anything! Absolut Raspberri has attracted some serious fans throughout the years, mostly for its versatility. Super easy to mix and tastes great! Cool your friends with a Raspiroska for those hot summer nights out, or treat your true love with a Raspberri Chocolate Martini on Valentine’s Day to set the mood.

So why pepper? Since vodka and pepper are the main ingredients in a Bloody Mary, it seemed like a good idea to make things easier for bartenders working at the many Bloody Mary bars popping up in Boston, New York and elsewhere at the time. The idea soon turned out as intended, both for bartenders and for all the weekend brunch fans looking to impress friends with an easy-to-make, perfect to pair Bloody Mary.

Related to cherries and apricots, the peach is loved for its fuzzy skin and sweet taste. But, as beautiful as it is, peaches occur too seldom in drinks. So, we made Absolut Peach back in 2005 to change that and it soon found its following around the world. Absolut Peach is the true master of one (ingredient that is). Add iced tea for an easy backyard barbeque drink or mix it with prosecco for a fancy Peach Bellini at your next rooftop party. Et voilà!

Mandarins. Sweet, easy-to-peel little things. And less of a hassle than oranges. No need to cut them in slices. Or peel them for ages. Or eat them with a napkin and then never get rid of the stickiness, no matter how many times you wash your hands.Yes, we have a thing for mandarins and while everyone was making orange flavored vodka, we did what we usually do; something different. Absolut Mandrin was a hard one to make, but is ridiculously simple to mix. Just add Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer for a perfect weekend drink.
