Absolut™ celebrates Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras 2024 partnership with the launch of the new club series Absolut X. Championing the future of inclusive & queer nightlife, Absolut X dance floors are popping up all over Sydney/Eora.
Absolut X is a global dance event series making its way to Sydney this February. Launching at Fair Day with the Absolut X Dancefloor; then a landmark full venue takeover at The House of Music & Booze with collaborative Absolut X events. Absolut X celebrates the diverse communities that inspire and represent the past, present and future of inclusive nightlife culture in Australia.
Absolut invites you to a weekend-long, day-to-night takeover at Sydney’s premier multi-room venue, The House of Music & Booze.
From Friday, February 23 to Sunday, February 25, embark on a celebration honouring the rich tapestry of communities that embody queer nightlife. For the third year now, Absolut X is teaming up with legendary queer event organisers Heaps Gay & Xaddy’s Door List to curate a colourful experience promising to establish an intimate and safe environment, spotlighting the evolving landscape of nightlife in Australia. Join us at The House of Music and Booze: 61 Princes Hwy, St Peters NSW 2044.
Friday February 23rd
Absolut x and Heaps Gay present: Hot Mess
Heaps Gay has proudly coaxed Sydney out of its shell since 2013 with larger than life parties and events for the queer community. This event is no exception, kicking off with “Social Club” – featuring a promoter networking session and a “Queer Club Culture Captured” photography exhibition.
Afterwards, “HOT MESS”, a club night featuring a heavy hitting all-star cast of hosts and selectors, including London’s legendary Pxssy Palace (UK) crew, Cookie Kawaii (US), Crescendoll, Pa777iance, Club Chrome, Charlie Villas, Ruby Teys, Stelly G, Pea Oh Ma & Heaps Gay DJs.
Sunday February 25th
Absolut X Presents: Xaddy’s Day 2 Night
Fronted by the trailblazing Xander Khoury – Father of the House of Silky and the mastermind behind Xaddy’s Door List – it’s the perfect home away from home for all diverse communities to turn it up.
The party commences with a post-Sissy Ball kiki, treating the ballroom community to a special complimentary drink on arrival. Launching the evening is a selection of some of the brightest ballroom acts and music selectors in the game including Atarangi (NZ), Oscar Nñ (US), Nasthug (JP) and Habibitch (FR) to name a few.

Absolut x DANCEFLOOR @ fair day
Absolut kicks off the Mardi Gras celebrations at Fair Day 2024 on February 18, with the Absolut X Dancefloor sure to keep punters moving all day with local and international DJs bringing the heat. Signifying the start of Mardi Gras 2024, the Absolut X Dancefloor will be a cornerstone of Fair Day for those keen to dance, let loose, and reunite with their chosen families.

Absolut X Angels Only Present: HAVEN
Angels Only, fronted by creative powerhouse Jason De Cox, primes a captivating, joy filled, inclusive experience that meets community activation. Empowered by Absolut X – Angels Only will gather some of Sydney’s finest souls to guide you to Haven. This event is a glamorous celebration of the future of club culture, defined by four key pillars: community, house, techno, and vision.
