The Comeback Kid with a Real Kick

The Mule is for enjoying the simpler things in life.

The Mule

Across the world bars have been seeing a resurgence of Moscow Mules, a group of drinks made with ginger beer, citrus juice and a variety of base spirits, recently.

Some might argue that this growth in the drink’s popularity is because of its cool and refreshing taste, others that it’s purely down to how simple they are to mix. As always in the world of cocktails though, it might simply be a case of what’s old is new again.

With its popularity on the rise over the past few years, cocktail’s fans will have certainly seen the coveted copper mugs synonymous with Mules becoming more and more prevalent, and many now claim that this metallic flagon is imperative to making a definitively delicious beverage.

Does the mug really make the Mule though? Not necessarily, although it does keep your drink exceptionally chilly. So don’t let a lack of a copper cup dissuade you from trying this tasty tipple next time you’re out on the town or looking for something to mix at home.

You really can’t go wrong with something as simple and tasty as a Mule.
