    ABSOLUT ELYX is manually distilled in a 1921 copper rectification still known as Column 51, made entirely of copper. It is operated by a selected few who inherited their knowledge and expertise from past generations of spirit and vodka makers.

    Our silky textured vodka is a result of the single estate wheat, the manual operation and the old copper catalyzation process. The copper naturally catalyzes trace compounds in the spirit, purifying the vodka and adding a highly prized silky texture and taste.

    ABSOLUT ELYX is the result of century-old expertise, passed down through generations of Swedish vodka-makers. Krister Asplund and his team are amongst the very few people who have the skills and knowledge to operate a manual still. Together they control the temperature and precise rate of flow during distillation by hand. Every handle, knob and level is adjusted manually.

    ABSOLUT ELYX IS THE RESULT OF MANUAL PROCESSES, AUTHENTIC CRAFTSMANSHIP AND HUMAN SUPERVISION THROUGH EVERY DETAIL OF PRODUCTION. CRAFTED FROM SINGLE ESTATE WHEAT AND DISTILLED BY HAND IN A 1921 COPPER STILL TO CREATE A REMARKABLY SILKY VODKA.

    SINGLE ESTATE WHEAT

    ABSOLUT ELYX is made in Åhus, Sweden, exclusively from single estate wheat from the Råbelöf Castle, where they have been producing wheat since the 1400s. The wheat grown here contains exactly the right amount of water and has the perfect balance of starch

    From seed to bottle, everything is done within a 15-mile radius of the distillery, ensuring quality control and perfection in every detail.

ABSOLUT ELYX is made with passion, expertise and craftsmanship. When it comes to making great cocktails, it’s the same attention to detail that produces outstanding results every time.

ABSOLUT ELYX is often enjoyed on the rock, or with a whisper of dry vermouth in a classic Martini. The following recipes have been specially created to make the most of the silky texture and the exceptionally pure vodka taste.

    • 2 PARTS ABSOLUT ELYX
    • 1⁄2 PART FINO DRY SHERRY
    • 1⁄2 PART FRESHLY SQUEEZED LEMON JUICE
    • 1⁄2 PART SUGAR SYRUP
    • EGG WHITE
    • GARNISH: LONG LEMON TWIST
    • GLASS: COCKTAIL

    Measure ABSOLUT ELYX, fino sherry, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg white into a mixing tin. First gently dry shake (no ice), then fill three quarters full with ice and shake. Double strain the drink into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a long lemon twist and serve.

    • 1⁄2 PART CALVADOS
    • 1⁄2 PART APRICOT BRANDY
    • GARNISH: ORANGE TWIST
    • GLASS: COCKTAIL

    Measure ABSOLUT ELYX, calvados and apricot brandy into a mixing tin. Fill three quarters full with ice and stir for 45 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange peel, press oil from the orange peel over the drink and serve.

    • 1 PART BEEFEATER 24 GIN
    • GARNISH: LEMON TWIST
    • GLASS: COCKTAIL

    Measure ABSOLUT ELYX, Lillet Blanc and Beefeater 24 into a mixing tin. Fill three quarters full with ice and stir for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Press oil from the lemon twist over the drink and serve.

    Measure the ABSOLUT ELYX and vermouth into a mixing tin. Fill with ice and stir until ice cold. Double strain the drink into a chilled cocktail. Garnish with star anise and serve.
