Nancy, honey, are you saying that Europeans arrived in California in the 1960's? The Chinese invaded Tibet in 1959. They continue to maintain power at the barrel of a gun. They oppress the Tibetans just like they oppress their own people. There are no civil liberties in Tibet or China. There is no moral equivalency whatsoever between Tibet and "Aztlan." Your argument is idiotic.

If the United States did anything about Tibet or Darfur, you would probably be the first one screaming that we should be minding our own business. So which is it? Is America supposed to save the world or mind their own business. When we mind our business, you tell us that we aren't doing enough, but when we save hundreds of thousands of Islamic citizens in Kuwait, Serbia, Afghanistan (in the 80's from Soviet control), and the people of Iraq who were being electrocuted, shot, gassed, buried alive, whisked away from families in the middle of the night by Saddam Hussein, you tell us that we are meddling. Get out.

Why don't we all go back to the beginning of time and give all the land of the world back....ummm, to who? Mongolians and Ghengis Khan conquered many lands, so did the Babylonians, the Egyptians, the Romans, the Greeks....how far back should we go to start redrawing borders? You answer that and you get the gold star. But for now, the Southwest is rightfully part of the Great United States and if you don't like it, either get the hell out or never come here.

It's funny to see so many Americans got so pissed and disturbed by this ad that wasn't even supposed to be shown in the US, and yet they are shouting that the Chinese should get out of Tibet. What a bunch of hypocrites! Now we have a taste of how the majority of the Chinese people feel about Tibet. Oh, wait. There are some differences between California and Tibet. One is that Tibet became part of China long before Europeans arrived in the present-day California; most Tibetans are still living in Tibet while Mexicans have become illegal immigrants in California; there are far more Tibetan Buddhist temples in Tibet nowadays than Roman Catholic cathedrals in California, Arizona, and Texas combined. I think we should all look at ourselves first before pointing fingers at others.
