Electric Daisy Carnival (New York) 

Music, rollercoasters and art all in one fine carnival. Far more than you bargained for (word on the street suggests every minute will be mind-blowing). 

The where and when: MetLife Stadium, New York. May 23rd – 24th, 2015.

La Biennale (Venice) 

Venice Biennale is back in town for the 56th time. Armed with no less than 136 artists showcasing their incredible work, it’s almost enough to give you an art attack.

Frieze Art Fair (New York) 

What do you call a fake pizza or an axe lying in sugar? Contemporary art, obviously. This year’s fair will be wacky and wonderful – just try not to mistake an actual fire extinguisher, door, toilet etc. for the next big thing.

The Church Berlin at Prince Charles (Berlin) 

To kick off the XJazz Festival in Berlin, the stage at Prince Charles will be open for singers, instrumentalists and dancers for a jam session.

Primavera Sound (Barcelona) 

This year, Spain’s largest musical festival has an eclectic – and totally electric – line-up. You can expect the shockingly good alt-J, Dixon and promising electro-pop duo, Sylvan Esso.
