A Sea Breeze is the pitcher-perfect cocktail that’s a bright (and refreshing) idea come rain or shine.

The classic

Sea, sand and sun. Is what you probably think of when you picture the classic cocktail, the Sea Breeze.

Originally made in 1952 with just grapefruit juice and called the Salty Dog, the easy-breezy classic we know today as the Sea Breeze finally combined the trio of tastes (that’s vodka, cranberry juice and fresh grapefruit juice) sometime in the 1970s.

A decade of widespread popularity followed before the innovative introduction of branded Absolut jugs in the 90s which allowed this well-loved cocktail to be enjoyed by the pitcher.
