A twist on a Brazilian classic with a Russian name and Swedish vodka – the Caipiroska is a cocktail that's loved the world over – and for good reason.

This famously refreshing cocktail is the Russian brother of the Brazilian classic, Caipirinha. While the Caipirinha uses Cachaça (a type of rum, made out of sugar cane), try doing it as the Russians do, and add some vodka instead to transform the Caipirinha to a Caipiroska. Switch it up to a citrus vodka for the extra zing.

To make a Caipiroska, muddle lime and superfine sugar in a chilled rocks glass with Absolut Citron. Stir. Fill with crushed ice. Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy. And you’ve got yourself a Brazilian drink, with a Russian name and Swedish vodka. Confused? Yes. Delicious? Definitely.

1 part Absolut Citron

4 Lime Wedges

2 Teaspoons Superfine Sugar
