But what exactly makes a cocktail a tiki cocktail? Well, with many recipes often carefully guarded to prevent imitation there is no single definitive answer. But the vast majority of these elaborately exotic drinks are made with rum, fresh juice and other layered flavors. Really though, there are so many variations that you should feel free to experiment; for a new tiki tropical kick, replacing the rum with one of our flavored vodkas is the perfect way to create something fresh.

Absolut Zombie

1oz Absolut Mandrin
2oz Absolut Vanilia
1.5oz white grapefruit juice
.5oz Velvet Falernum
.5oz cinnamon clove syrup
1oz fresh lime juice
1 Barspoon Pernod Absinthe
1 Barspoon house made vanilla grenadine or premium grenadine
6 dashes of angostura bitters

How to mix 
Shake and strain over crushed iced in an Absolut Tiki mug or Collins glass. Garnish with an edible orchid and lime shell with .25oz Absolut 100 lit on fire.

Green Mango Swizzle

1.5oz Absolut Mango
1oz Yellow Chartreuse
.5oz fresh lime juice
2oz fresh orange juice
2oz pineapple
3 dashes of Bar Keep Chinese Spice bitters (added later)

How to mix
Pour over crushed ice filled Absolut tiki mug. Swizzle then top with more crushed ice. Garnish with bitters, pineapple wedge and 2 pineapple fronds 

Vanilia Chi Chi

2oz Absolut Vanilia
3oz Pineapple
.5oz fresh lime
2oz Calahua or Coco Lopez coconut creme
3 dashes Angostura bitters (added after)

How to mix
Shake and strain into crushed ice filled Absolut tiki mug. To garnish top with more crushed ice, bitters, pineapple slice and a picked Pernod Absinthe spiced cherry

Mai Tai Lei Lei

1oz Absolut Hibiskus
1oz Absolut Vanilia
.5oz St Elder
.5oz Orgeat
1oz lime juice
.25oz honey syrup

How to mix
Shake with crushed ice and dump into Double Old Fashioned or an Absolut Tiki Mug Garnish - Top with crushed ice and garnish with an edible orchid and a lime wheel.

The Coconut Monk

1oz Absolut Mandrin
1oz Absolut Hibiskus
1oz of coconut water
1oz Calahua Coconut Creme or Coco Lopez
1oz of pineapple juice
.75oz fresh lime
.5oz domaine de canton
Barspoon of Branca Menta

How to mix
Shake and strain over crushed ice filled Absolut Tiki Mug. Garnish with 3 dashes of angostura, pineapple slice and two pineapple fronds
