The future of breathtaking visuals
After designing cars for Audi / Volkswagen for a few years, Heather Shaw founded Vita Motus Design in 2006. She found her niche by combining sustainable production with non- toxic materials, with a contemporary twist. The results are breathtaking: futuristic, colorful and transcendent set design make performances seem larger than life.
Notable sets include Pharrell Williams’ concert at Coachella in 2014, and more globally for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and other great festival and venues such as Infected Mushroom, American Idol, Boom Festival. Pharrell dances among a myriad of cartoon characters, whereas M.I.A. and Jannelle Monae put on a bi-coastal live performance, by dancing with each other’s hologram . Playing with patterns, lights, textures, and materials, this futuristic studio creates a festive narrative which extends the performers’ inner personality and style.
