New York City Drone Film Festival (NYC)

The Big Apple is fast becoming the drone world’s very own Cannes. The Drone Film Festival will return to its prestigious Manhattan venue to showcase 35 international short films of drone-shot, aerial cinematography.

David Bowie (PARIS)

The critically acclaimed David Bowie is exhibition arrives in time for the opening of the new Philharmonie de Paris. In the words of Ziggy Stardust himself, I promise it won’t be boring.

DesignMarch Reykjavik (ICELAND)

With an expected 100 or so events, Iceland’s most important annual design festival is set to transform the world’s most northerly capital into one big venue for design, fashion, art, music and architecture. 

The where and when: Reykjavik, Iceland. 12th – 15th March. 
Price: Free mostly, talks should be booked in advance. 

Christian Marclay Exhibition (LONDON)

The room is silent, but the projections on its four walls are loud and clear; comic-book style delights such as ‘Whooosh!’ and ‘Zoooom!’ run circles around you, bringing to life the marriage between image and sound. This and much more.

The where and when: Whitecube Bermondsey, London. Ends 12th April. 

The Buku Project (NEW ORLEANS)

A$AP rocky, Zella Day, Empire Of The Sun, Lil B and RL Grime are on the line-up of this two-day festival. Coinciding with the Mardi Gras festivities, prepare for a hefty dose of Mississippi culture, art and food.

Sao Paulo Fashion Week (BRAZIL)

After New York, London, Paris and Milan comes Brazil’s biggest fashion event, showcasing South America’s finest new collections. The likes of Naomi and Gisele have slinked down its catwalk in previous years – it’s kind of a big deal.
